Bow to him O' Servant

This mind of ours, this mind wanders in the alleys of memories and re-lives past all the time creating similar emotions, a sad memory relived like scratching a scab of old wound or a joyful memory re- lived once making one nostalgic and again in a state of sadness.

This mind of ours - this mind dissects everything intellectually right down to it smallest bit, like what scientists do to an atom and further what is there inside the atom or right down to a the inner buts of a frog- we are good at dissecting - the dissection is about other never about oneself "the observer"

This mind of ours - this mind identifies itself with people, objects, nation and culture, the identification churns emotions for some and not for others, the identification creating a sense of separation, my nation, my state, my house, my family, my child, my religion - and that separation creates loneliness and the need to meet that loneliness with with busy work that creates a sense of power over others or just a busy time a time pass to do away with the sense of loneliness.

This mind of ours - never lives in a moment, because in the moment if lived one cannot think, this mind would not like that so we continue living in past or planning for future moment trapped in time forever.
Trapped!
This mind of ours -this mind is our master.

She- a fictional blog

She had lived her life the best she could. She had never asked for more than what she got- yet she had made sure that she did her best the very best in all fields of her life. She had loved, enjoyed, been sad, been selfish, sometimes unhappy and happy.  She was a mother, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a friend.

And above all she was also  a seeker. She introspected about everything not with logical heart but a mystical heart.  All good and bad made sense, all rich and poor made sense, all happy and sad made sense. And when she went beyond the mysticism she found that there was nothing but her projecting the mind to outer world creating everything around her. She herself created everything. She led her life with this thought. The best life she could.

Time flew.

Now she was old. Her children had moved on living away from her physically but very near to her in their heart.  Never had she imagined that she would get so wrinkled and old. In acceptance and in bliss, she spent hours with her own-self and when she closed her eyes in meditation she sometimes did not realize that it was nearly sunset. Her own self was her drug to her joy. Her own self was enough for her.

Occasionally she would ring her friends the ones who were still alive and she found some sad and depressed where as others with acceptance the life as it came and yet lacking in exuberance. There was no way that she could help them as she did not know how to- they had been thinking a certain way for most of their life and they could not be helped. The mental impressions of their thinking could not be changed. Not now, not if they wanted to.

Many years later when she was on her last breath- in her very last moment her life flew past her in a second -it was a good life. Now she was eager to meet her maker – her own atman without this mind and this body.

She was ready .

The nurse around her was surprised at her chuckled last expression. She breathed no more.

Gravity will kill a Good Man as much as a Bad Man without parachute.

The laws of Universe apply to all; the good, the bad, the ugly. No matter how good you are would you not fall and die if you decide to jump out of a 50 storey building without any means to stop. Gravity does not do partiality because you are good, or bad or ugly. Such are all laws of Universe. The point that I am making is that when people question on how “God” makes a good man suffer there is a lack of understanding when they blame in on a past life karma. Karma seems to be a linear way of thinking that if I do bad- bad will happen and if I do good -good will happen and yet most of us have never done bad- we ordinary people are so stuck in fear that we usually try to do good think good just because we think that this karma will beat the crap out of us.

And yet karma is nothing like that- Consider karma to be a programme – a computer programme – that is yours, that programme will deliver exactly what you have asked it to deliver. Your body, your mind, the openness of your thinking, the learning ability of your mind, the willingness to change, going beyond good and bad and acting holistically is all part of your software. You may be a good man or a woman but when you will not make conscious, sensible decisions then you have no escape from laws of Universe; one of the laws being that if you have taken an action then there will be a consequence. Most of us are either not aware of consequences or are only aware of narrowed consequences because we are not sensible, again coming down to karma of who you are in your mind with your thinking etc...

Karma is Ignorance- nothing less nothing more. Pure ignorance of how this Universe runs is the greatest miserable karma that you can have- the universe does not care if you are good or bad. Be aware, make conscious choices, and make sensible choices. The greatest power that you have is that you can rewrite your programme every minute by making conscious choice. A conscious choice is a choice when you are in tune with this Universe.

You will be served what you deserve  - the deserving is your conscious or unconscious choice. Not any good deed or bad deed you do .
