She Forgot Why She Came

She came in this life
And forgot why she came
She got involved in useless
And went back with no gain

She came back again
And again forgot why she came
She got involved in useless
And went back with no gain

The sameness and repetition
Of being born again and again
The sameness of going back in misery
With hardly any gain

What she forgot was to always remember
That she was the Only Universe
Out to have an experience
Of a Human Fellow

What she forgot was to stay and live in world
Not like a glue to paper
But like a free floating bird
Mindful of all happenings

What she forgot was to remember
To deal with impermanence with joy
To endure bravely all aspects
And to stay earthed to eternal and Cosmos

Every life she attached herself to forms and colors
Every life she attached to issues and agendas
Every time she went back with no learning
And came back to suffer again and again

The measure of  progress of a life that one leads
Is one's misery meter when things don't go one's way
The attachments that play havoc and things one wants
The unpreparedness when it is not how one wants.

Be mindful and be in know
Of all that will pass
To deal with matters with zest
Oh knowing that nothing matters at all

  1. To live life naturally and spontaneously is unaffordable to many

  4. But, I know the woman who is above all this
who knows where to get attached and where to detach
who is scientist but spiritualist also
who is beautiful externally ..but more beautiful internally
who has all the qualities of head and heart
who has all the knowledge ..but still very humble
who hasn't wasted this birth, this life ..its years days and hours
who has also made me learn some of these qualities
Do you know this woman.. Alka ji ???

This life and its mysiticism and to be able to negate that which connects you to heart in matters of heart and head in matters of head and to know the difference and to be aligned in head and heart in some matters is the way. Truth is always ours - inside us and each sees it differently. Some think that they see truth and become dry actually do not see Truth really, some think that they see truth and become uncaring actually do not but the ones who after seeing truth become love and dance to the tune of cosmos in a madhosh pattern are the ones who have drunk that spirit and become spirited.
I see you in a similar group as that woman Rakesh :)))

  5. The woman is the same woman who wrote this blog...Alka...the one and only one.Your presence is electrifying whereas you go or visit in real world or in virtual world . Your comments and blogs are always inspiring and you put your own stamp on it ..and always come from head and heart in ideal mix ...flow like river, smell like flowers, high like mountains and have depth like ocean
    Thanks today, tomorrow and always

    1. I thank you Rakesh!
I try to introspect a lot and sometimes nothing flows and then it is a flood of thoughts and poems. There are times i write so many poems in one go and there are times when some ideas that come in fail to form inot what I want to say and sometimes the magic disappears . I have so many half finished paragraphs siting on my desktop
      Thank you always :))))

  6. Although, you knew very well that it is you, still you stopped short of identifying or acknowledging it and I was in suspense what you will do with it "ones who after seeing truth become love and dance to the tune of cosmos in a madhosh pattern are the ones who have drunk that spirit and become spirited. "
    It defines you again

There is a process in mind that is shy of being appreciated too much. I have to do something about it. I am happy person but when someone acknowledges - it is very nice but very humbling too - very very humbling
      thank you
