If I told you that nothing happens outside you would you believe it?
For example if you see someone- a person -- where do you see?
Inside your eyes- that becomes a picture inside your brain. If you touch
someone - you only feel what your nerves say about that touch and how
your mind perceives it -is it not so?
Can you hear all
activities happening inside your body? So much activity? The blood flow - can you feel it? No. Because all senses are outward that is why. We may feel an ant crawling on our skin but not the pounding of the blood, the exchange of ions in the neurons, the movement of enzymes.
In the very nature of things all sense organs are outward bound but all experiences are happening within. Who can refute this ever? Have you ever experienced anything outside of you? So everything that you experience happens within you and only you.
All perceptions, all judgement, all theories, all desires are inner experiences of outer things. All matter and all non matter that On can feel and see happens inside you. Then what is the outer world other than your experience?
Go in to find how mysterious it all is - go deep within to know yourself.
You are all the Universe that you have created around you. There is nothing beyond you.
Very crisp writing....simple explanation of such profound truths. It is fascinating to realize this that what is outside is reflection of what is inside of you.The moment you understand this....all blaming or pitying yourself drops and acceptance and surrender happens.But it is not that easy to remain in that understanding all the time...such a hard covering of misconception are veiling the intellect and for so long.You try ....sometimes you get it and so many times you get swayed by your hardened impressions accumulated by you for the past so many janmas.But at least you are in the knowing...

It is about perception and what reaction any outside stimuli has within us . When we react then we are giving way to natural tendencies and when we respond we do it with a mind that is within our control. We have to understand our own tendencies , introspect on them and understand what needs to be changed .
